H. Keith Brown. Ph.D. is a professor of Clinical Human Anatomy, Medical Physiology and Neuroscience in the Department of
Physical Therapy at North Georgia College and State University located in Dahlonega, Georgia. He has been working in the
field of medical imaging since 1967. He received a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry from Augusta College, an M.S. in Medical
Anatomy from the Medical College of Georgia and a Ph.D. in Medical Anatomy/Neuroscience from Tulane University.
Dr. Brown invented the Color Fusion MRI technology after several years of tissue segmentation/characterization research while he was a professor in the Departments of Radiology and Anatomy at the University of South Florida College Of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Brown's current research projects include developments in automatic tissue segmentation, tissue mapping and Color Fusion MRI for applications in diagnosis of neurological, musculoskeletal and gynecologic disorders. His research and development of the process for producing and efficiently viewing MR data as Color Fusion MRI is currently focused on 3-D reconstruction, medical education and computer aided diagnosis. |
